It’s become a Lincoln City tradition every February – Antique Week! The week is so popular, it’s actually 10 days long – from February 7 to 17 this year.
SCAVENGER HUNT. The week features an Antique Store Scavenger Hunt, which will lead you through Lincoln City’s many and varied antique shops. Look for special sales as you go.
SPECIAL GLASS FLOATS. As part of Antique Week, 300 antique Japanese floats will be hidden on the beach for you to find and keep. On Valentine’s Day, 50 red glass floats will be placed on the beaches.
HISTORIC EXHIBITS. Check the North Lincoln County Historical Museum for a display of vintage Valentines and vintage quilts. (Find the museum at 4907 SW Hwy 101. It’s open from noon to 5 pm Wednesday through Saturday.
APPRAISALS. Local antique experts will offer appraisals for your antiques and collectibles.
HISTORIC TOURS. Take a free bus ride with a guided tour of the city and learn about the olden days – including haunted houses and ghost ships.
SWEETHEART DANCE. On Valentine’s Day, the Lincoln Pops Orchestra will perform at the Lincoln City Cultural Center.
In addition, the Bijou Theater will have a theme-related classic movie: Somewhere in Time.
